A number of shows coming up…

‘Miniature Art’ at Beinart Gallery is a group exhibition featuring sculptures and paintings created on a mind-bendingly small scale. Art in miniature is inherently impressive by virtue of the precision and patience demanded by its very creation, but that is not where its magic lies. The magic is in the invitation extended to the viewer to reimagine the world on an entirely different scale, one in which even Thumbelina might be considered a giant. Miniature art delights the eye and teases the brain with possibility. Opening Reception: Saturday, March 7, from 5pm – 10pm. Free entry. This exhibition runs from March 8 to March 29. See images of the works on the Gallery’s website.

‘Communion’ opens April 11th at Dark Art Emporium

‘Wish You Were Here, Artists who have left the Bay Area’, March 19 - April 13, 2020. The Opening is Sun, March 22nd, 3-6 pm, at Studio Gallery in SF.

Fall and Winter... Group Shows! by Chris Leib

I’ve been a bit neglectful with updates here, but I’ve had paintings in a few group shows this Fall and Winter…

My painting Unimelt was shown at ‘Beyond Eden’ Modern Eden Gallery at Designercon 2019.

The Secret Gallery in Astoria, The Talking Monkey’ show, featured ‘Cheesy Chimp’.

I had two small works at Booth Gallery / Last Rites in NYC, for their show Microdose.

I was happy to be asked by John Casey to be part of his collaboration project Hands and Pants shown at Faultline Artspace in Oakland, and have my work included in the wonderful publication of the same name.

And a piece in WOW x WOW’s show, Monuments of the Psyche and back in June, a piece in Fistfuls of Sky.

Two-Faced, at Pence Gallery… the paintings are in some pirates collection, as they never made their way through the post to the Gallery…
